Logging in

Log in by clicking the "Login" button a the top of the page. It will pop up a window asking for your username and password, once these are supplied you will see your login buttons at the top right. Up to five people may be logged into the computer at once! You can see that each user has a little green light next to the arrow "start" button. If this light is active/green, any new objects created will be owned by that user (objects can be owned by more than one user). If not, that user is assumed to be "away". You can click the indicator to change it's colour at any time

Editing Pages

When you are viewing a page that you can edit, you will see a switch on the top of the page marked "view/edit". Clicking that switch changes the page between view-mode and edit-mode. Double-click your login-avatar (top-right if you're logged in) to get your homepage, which you should be able to edit (unless an admin has locked it for some reason). You should see the edit/view switch.
